Thank you to all who attended Eric Edson’s SCRIPTWRITERS NETWORK EVENT

FROM FACEBOOK: Thank you to all who attended Eric Edson’s SCRIPTWRITERS NETWORK EVENT last Saturday at CBSStudioCenter. The room was wall to wall with screenwriters, abuzz with screenwriting talk led by accomplished screenwriter, author and university professor Eric Edson.  He demonstrated his unique, 23 interlocking actions used in every successful movie, called “Hero Goal Sequences”.  These simple steps create dynamic, three-dimensional heroes, and captivating, emotion-filled plots. Eric Edson is a long-time member of the Writers Guild of America and author of “The Story Solution,” a scriptwriting book which describes the process of creating a captivating screenplay. Based around the book, Eric created a website called The Story Solution that serves as a virtual repository of information for budding screenwriters. Eric has written seventeen feature screenplays on assignment with major Hollywood studios like Sony, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers, etc. He offers advice, screenwriting tips and creative screenwriting workshops for individuals looking to become successful writers. If you are in Los Angeles and want to hear Eric Edson speak again, please join us at the Writers Store in Burbank, CA on Thursday 2/21 at 6:30 p.m. for the annual pre-Oscars panel discussion! Moderator Pilar Alessandra (THE COFFEE BREAK SCREENWRITER) hosts authors Eric Edson (THE STORY SOLUTION), Todd Klick (SOMETHING STARTLING HAPPENS), Matt R. Lohr (DAN O’BANNON’S GUIDE TO SCREENPLAY STRUCTURE) and Jeffrey Schechter (MY STORY CAN BEAT UP YOUR STORY) for an evening of fun, informative and entertaining awards-season chat! http://www.writersstore.com/annual-pre-oscar-panel-with-michael-wiese-productions/
