Hello Writers All,
As good ole 2019 comes scampering to a close, it’s well worthwhile for all of us to look back on what we’ve undertaken and accomplished this year as writers.
Here is a quick look at some of the highlights for The Story Solution in 2019:
- We hit AMAZON CHINA’s #1 RANKING for Film and TV books multiple times
- We landed in AMAZON’s TOP 5 LISTS in France, Italy, Germany, Canada, and Australia
- On Facebook The Story Solution reached 5500+ fans…
- … and then we hit 1000+ subscribers on our YouTube channel
- Another terrific YouTube channel, FILM COURAGE, continued to post more clips from Eric’s screenwriting lectures – Masterclass: Story Structure and Masterclass: 14 Character Categories
- In the month of November, our Story Solution website clocked VISITORS FROM 50 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES!
We live many moods, feel many emotions and experiences in 12 whole months. So stop a moment, breathe deeply and congratulate yourself on making it through yet another trip around the sun!
Maybe this was the year you made a breakthrough, created a whole new draft of your script or novel or maybe even got something optioned. Maybe it was more of a tough slog year at your keyboard trying to figure out how to make your latest story idea work.
As for Gina, Taylor and myself, we’re taking stock, too.
If you still need a copy, The Story Solution is also available on Amazon USA, so pick one up today. (Makes a great gift, too!) For those who aren’t yet familiar with the book, it examines the 23 actions in every successful movie that create dynamic, three-dimensional heroes while linking together all parts of a captivating screenplay from first page to last.
And don’t miss our latest postings, like The 4 Emotions In Screenplay Writing which delves into creating a strong emotional bond between the audience and your protagonist, with tools to keep emotion growing throughout every scene you write. There’s a helpful infographic included as well!
